Indian Rail budget 2009-10. Cong says it’s pro-people and BJP opposes it.
Passenger fares and freight rates are unchanged! a good news; isn’t it?
Yuva trains for the youth and the underpriveleged
Tatkal charge comes down
ATM’s on 200 stations
12 non-stop trains from one location to another are introduced for quick travel
There is a new scheme named, ”Izzat’ which facilitates Rs 25 ticket for those with monthly salary under Rs 1000.
Mamata’s priority lists are better passenger amenities, safety & security, and provision of good quality food & drinking water.
Mamata told that railway recruitment will consider favorably the minorities, woman and the economically backward.
As a whole it looks like a common man’s budget…Do U agree?!

Does earth remain a better place without ‘Life’?
Are you aware that within next 50 yrs, many inhabited islands across the world
will sink in the Sea because of Global warming?…
This is just one consequence, there are many drastic ones to follow like
disappearance of glaciers, annihilation of many species of animals,spread of
epidemics, flash floods, large-scale loss of human lives etc!
